Collaboration & Accountability Feat. Molly Backlund | PAWCast 55 | Veterinary Podcast
Wednesday Apr 21, 2021
Wednesday Apr 21, 2021
The life of a veterinary technician is not an easy one, especially when working overnights. It requires a way of communicating that can be difficult for some, but necessary for the patient. That means that a different type of person tends to be attracted to and thrive in the emergency and overnight practice setting. Someone who is ready to learn and coach with accountability. Someone ready to seek collaboration to implement solutions.
On this weeks PAWCast, we are joined again by Molly Backlund. Molly is a CVT here at PAW as well as our Shelter Engagement Coordinator. In this episode, we discuss Molly's role as a CVT, her love for committing fully to patients in the clinic, the things she has learned in collaboration and learning by accountability, the insanity of working night shifts, and how to communicate purpose within process and why that works so well in coaching.
If you are ready to take the next step in collaboration, this episode is for you.
How do you find you have to adjust your communication style to collaborate best with your team? Let us know in the comments!
